Orange in rejig as Hutchinson exits

Orange UK head of PR Jayne Hutchinson has left after more than five years with the company.

She has taken voluntary redundancy along with Nadia Kelly, head of PR at the former Wanadoo brand, as part of a company-wide restructure by brand owner France Telecom.

Orange UK head of media Stuart Jackson sees his role expanded, taking over Hutchinson's responsibilities as well as Kelly's press office remit.

Orange UK PR director Scott Jacobson will handle the consumer element of Kelly's role. Jackson continues to report to Jacobson.

Hutchinson is to go travelling for three months and Kelly - with the business since it was known as Freeserve - will ‘take a year to 18 months out of the industry'.

Wanadoo was renamed Orange earlier this year to harmonise France Telecom's UK branding. The brands' comms teams have been combined.

Orange's UK consumer agency Golin Harris has recently had its comms brief expanded to include ongoing promotion of the mobile company's broadband offering. GH was brought in earlier this year (PRWeek, 13 January).
