The quarterly analysis, ranking the top 20 City agencies in terms of the number of clients they represent, indicates a steady summer across the financial PR sector.
Buchanan - led by CEO Richard Oldworth - sits ahead of Financial Dynamics by virtue of its impressive number of AIM clients (116), putting it more than 50 ahead of any other City agency in respect of the number of AIM companies it advises.
The latest rankings also show a strong summer for College Hill, which has 17 more clients than when the rankings were last produced in May. The agency moved to third overall, ahead of Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Brunswick.
Conduit PR also makes a notable entry at 14th, with 40 clients - it did not appear in the top 20 in May.
In respect of AIM clients above, College Hill moved up to third at the expense of Abchurch Communications, which dropped two clients over the summer.
In the small-cap/fledgling sector, Financial Dynamics held the most clients, despite losing some since May (from 54 to 48). But FD was second behind Brunswick in the number of FTSE-250 clients retained by each.
Brunswick also leads the way in respect of FTSE-100 clients, where Financial Dynamics is replaced by Finsbury in second spot.
