Campaign launches its first media awards

Campaign today launches the region's first dedicated awards recognising excellence in media planning and buying.

The Campaign Media Awards 2006 have been designed to celebrate the most creative media ideas, innovations and organisations from across the Middle East.

After consulting with the industry we have selected ten award categories, which include best use of media in online, outdoor, print, radio and television; best media plan; best media innovation; best use of sponsorship and the highly coveted media agency of the year award.

The judging panels will be made up of senior marketing executives and representatives from media agencies, details of which will be announced later.

Entries for the Campaign Media Awards 2006 close on 5 October, with a gala dinner awards ceremony held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai on 28 November.
