Hugo in music talent bid

Procter & Gamble is the latest company seeking to gain youth credibility from links with unsigned musical talent.

 A year-long talent search - Hugo Urban Rules, on behalf of Hugo Fragrances - is being promoted by Islington-based Spring PR. Musicians are invited to submit demos to compete for places on a series of workshops in London, Birmingham and Manchester, running until April 2007.

They will be advised on topics ranging from vocal coaching to the music industry.

One artist from each region will win the chance to record a track and perform a gig, and will be part of ongoing PR.
