Energy helpline in agency hunt

The trade body for Britain's energy suppliers, the Energy Retail Association (ERA), is to enter talks with agencies over a contract to promote its Home Heat Helpline.

Its search comes amid spiralling domestic energy bills.

The helpline is manned by experts advising the public on topics including entitlement to grants and energy efficiency.

The chosen agency will target low-income groups in England, Scotland and Wales, aiming to alleviate concerns they might have about paying heating bills.

Nine-month incumbent Good Relations plans to repitch.

ERA media and comms manager Nicola Bowles is leading the search.
