The move follows a pitch that excluded Hotwire but is believed to have included agencies Lighthouse PR, Rainier and Bite Communications.
The account - worth close to £100,000 - includes ongoing PR in the UK and the Nordics, as well as co-ordination work across ten European and Latin American markets.
‘We have had a successful relationship with Brocade and it has decided that now is time for a change. ‘We are sorry to see it go but we wish the company well,' said Hotwire UK regional director Brendon Craigie.
Weber Shandwick technology director Peter Ross - who rejoined the agency in November last year after two years as a senior partner at Hotwire - leads the account.
The agency's director of web relations James Warren is also working on the business.
