NUS enlists Frank for loyalty card

The commercial arm of the National Union of Students - NUS Extra - is running its biggest consumer PR campaign to launch a loyalty card.

Run by Frank PR, the campaign is being launched in two phases. The first centres around this Thursday's release of A-level results. The second will kick off in October to coincide with the start of the university year.

Sales and marketing manager Nick Emms said 90 brands - including Amazon, JJB and PC World - offered discounts on production of the card. Frank's brief also contains a trade element to get more firms involved.

Shine and Lexis's new youth marketing arm SiX (PRWeek, 7 July) both pitched for the account.

NUS Extra continues to use Cohn & Wolfe for corporate comms support.
