Quinn quits B&B for Lottery role

Band & Brown Communications board director Lisa Quinn is leaving at the end of August to join the National Lottery Promotions Unit.

Quinn – who has been with B&B for seven years – will join as a director in mid-September with a brief to ratchet up press coverage of causes supported by lottery money.

The promotions unit was set up three years ago by the DCMS, Camelot and the 15 lottery distributors after poor coverage in the nationals of its support for good causes.

Quinn said: ‘My job will be to make sure everyone is aware of the range of projects supported by the lottery – anything from opening village halls to helping fund Cornwall's Eden Project.'

She will initially report to Camelot director of corporate affairs Mark Gallagher, as well as the National Lottery management board.

B&B board director Graz Belli will take charge of Quinn's public sector and personal finance remit.
