Thresher readies franchise drive
The UK's biggest independent off-licence chain, Thresher Group, is to use Severn Communications for a campaign to sign up store owners. It is part of a drive to franchise 600 outlets.
The group, which includes Thresher, Wine Rack and The Local fascias, announced in January that it would seek to move at least 600 of its stores to a franchise model.
Severn's campaign, the first of its kind for the retailer, will target non-Thresher staff via national media as well as franchise and retail titles.
