Colleagues mourn murdered Senitt

Former colleagues have paid tribute to Alan Senitt, the political campaigner murdered on 9 July by armed robbers in Washington.

Senitt was director of The Political Council for Coexistence, an initiative bringing together Jewish and Muslim parliamentarians.

Danny Stone – aide to council founder Lord Janner  – said Senitt ‘left an impression on everyone he met'.

Danny Shek, CEO of Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre, where Senitt was PA officer for two years, said: ‘Alan was ambitious to do good things for others. Focused people are often cold-blooded, but there was nothing of that in Alan.' A memorial service was held on Tuesday.
