BRUSSELS: GPlus Europe has secured the services of Antony Vinall, a veteran in representing the interests of British industry in the EU.
Vinall has joined as an associate, straddling London and Brussels. He spent eight years at the UK Permanent Representation, Britain's de facto embassy to the EU, latterly as head of industry and internal market.
Prior to that he had a 20-year spell at the Department for Trade and Industry, where he held positions including counsellor for trade in Washington.
Vinall reports to GPlus director Peter Guilford.
The agency, whose clients include Microsoft and Toyota, was acquired earlier this year by marcoms group Omnicom (PRWeek, 24 March).
