CCA poaches WS healthcare duo

Chandler Chicco Agency (CCA) has pulled off an audacious double-raid on Weber Shandwick, poaching European health MD Fiona Hall and strategic development director Neil McGregor-Paterson.

Hall will join the US-headquartered independent health agency in the new role of MD of European operations. McGregor-Paterson will be London MD.

CCA is billing the move as ‘signalling [its] intention to have the broadest European footprint of any independent healthcare agency.'

Hall is expected to join CCA in the new year. McGregor-Paterson will join next month.

Hall will aim to grow CCA's nine-strong European affiliate network and establish wholly owned offices. McGregor-Paterson will report to Hall and take charge of a London team of  just over 50.

Gail Cohen will remain acting Europe MD for the remainder of this year. She relocated to London from the US after previous CCA UK MD Jennie Talman left late last year.

WS this week announced that it had hired Sam Barnes as a director in its London health team. He joins from Burson-Marsteller.
