RNIB stalwart set to leave charity

The RNIB's comms chief, Lynne Stockbridge, is to leave the sight charity at the end of August, after ten years.

She is to join the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy to fill the role vacated by Karen Livingstone's departure to Patricia Hewitt's office (PRWeek, 16 June).

Stockbridge takes the title of director of communications, marketing and policy.

In her board-level position she reports to CEO Phil Gray, and has responsibility for making sure the organisation maintains a robust profile in the medical sector.

Interviews for her replacement are due in September.
