Luckett lands top crisis job at H&K

Hill & Knowlton has promoted director Tim Luckett to MD of crisis and issues management.

Luckett was awarded the role having led a Europe-wide crisis response for clients during the Sudan 1 food scare, and has advised corporates on blackmail threats, brand attacks, product recalls and redundancies.

Reporting to head of the corporate practice Tim Fallon, Luckett replaces Alex Woolfall, who is leaving to join Weber Shandwick to lead its Coca-Cola UK corporate and PA account (PRWeek, 16 June).

In his new role, Luckett will also oversee media training at H&K – he has trained sportsmen, including Andy Murray and Gavin Henson.

His promotion coincides with asset management firm Schroders’ appointment of H&K to run its UK training programme after a pitch.
