Greyhound body in agency search

The British Greyhound Racing Board (BGRB) is in talks with agencies as it looks to hire its first PR firm.

The member organisation produced ‘Vision 2010’ – its first industry-wide strategic plan – at the end of last year and is keen to position itself as ‘the night out for the young, classless generation’.

Greyhound Promoters Association general-secretary Simon Levingston said he would complete a shortlist within a fortnight.

‘Vision 2010 is about moving the industry on and raising its profile, and about increasing the amount of money coming in,’ he said.
