Revolver scales down in London

Revolver Communications this week said it was committed to retaining its London presence, despite the office having dwindled to just three staff.

PR director Matt Owen confirmed a ‘restructuring' had led to three junior staff being laid off last week.

Revolver was bought by Leeds marketing agency Propaganda in 2004. At the time it had 14 staff.

Owen said: ‘There are now 20 people working on 12 accounts across Revolver's London and Leeds offices. All staff work at both offices.'

Revolver founder Martin Ballantine left last year (PRWeek, 17 Nov 2005), while MD Trudi Smith left in January.
