Foot Locker calls in first UK agency

Sports fashion retailer Foot Locker has taken on Frank PR as its first retained UK agency.

Frank has been briefed to run campaigns promoting monthly special events. The agency will also run a London press office for the chain’s 75 UK stores.

Foot Locker Europe associate manager of media strategy Natasja Jennings said the firm had made the hire to emphasise the brand’s lifestyle credentials.

The move follows the appointment of guerrilla marketer Sledge last year.
