Selfridges hosts World Cup space

Marcoms agency Exposure’s design arm, Studioexposure, has created a World Cup-themed space at London’s Selfridges store for retained client Umbro.

The installation, Umbro Football Fever at Selfridges, is modelled on a football pitch, and is intended to be a trendy place to watch the tournament, with specially devised lighting and more than 20 hi-definition television screens.

The area is aimed at people of all ages, with plans for a gallery, bar, a PlayStation2 gaming area, and table football and soccer training for youngsters. It will be open from 9 June to 9 July.

Umbro is the England football team’s official kit sponsor.
