Pension provider brings in Unity

Finance firm Jardine Lloyd Thompson has hired its first agency for over five years to help boost the profile of its employee benefits arm.

Unity has been briefed to target national print and broadcast media, positioning the firm as an authority on pensions and benefits.

Director Nik Done said the agency would use media interest in the UK ‘pensions crisis’ as a hook to promote the firm’s products.

PR and internal comms manager Isabella Young said a major tenet of the campaign was raising the profile of JLT Benefit Solutions MD Duncan Howorth, but the firm was also keen to distinguish itself from its parent insurance company.
