Insurer IGI plans brand overhaul

UK general insurer IGI Group has brought in its first agency to undertake a brand review and recruit more brokers to its network.

M Consulting, which will handle a wide marketing brief, will help IGI meet its planned £100m gross written premium by 2009.

‘There will be a number of different product launches,’ said M Consulting head of PR and communications Claire Clarke.

‘We’ll also target brokers and help them understand IGI’s niche profile.’

The 21-year-old company offers home, residential let and pet insurance.

Birmingham-based M Consulting is an insurance marcoms specialist.
