Shire Health London associate director Ali Wright is leaving after 18 months to take up the same role at Ketchum.
The former AstraZeneca global oncology PR manager will leave on 30 June, starting at Ketchum in July.
She said Ketchum appealed because she would be working on more international business than was the case at SHL.
Wright tops a raft of recent Ketchum hires, as the agency bids to support what Europe healthcare MD Avril Lee called ‘seven-figure growth in healthcare business since the start of the year'.
Amanda Sefton has joined as an associate director after a few months' freelancing. It is a return to Ketchum, where she worked prior to a two-year stint at Weber Shandwick in Hong Kong.
Other hires include account director Catherine Pannell, previously a senior account manager at Hill & Knowlton.
New senior account executives are Marie Sterry (ex-Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology PRO); Kelly Atkinson (ex-account manager at William Murray PR); and Ana Santos (ex-European Medicines Agency internal comms manager).
