AIM-listed York Pharma is to use start-up Just Health PR to launch Abasol, its product for fungal skin infections such as ringworm.
The treatment is the first product that York Pharma will bring to the UK market. It expects to launch it in the second half of this year, with a rollout across other European countries expected to follow.
Unlike many rival products, the Abasol cream is seen to be effective across a range of infections.
Just Health will handle a UK campaign on the challenges of diagnosing and managing fungal infections, and will promote data in specialist and primary-care publications.
York Pharma has an interesting product pipeline, with treatments for eczema (Sabarep) and psoriasis (Vampex) in development. The firm joined AIM in 2004 and uses Northbank Communications for financial comms.
Just Health reports to Milton Keynes-based sales and marketing director Neil Symmonds.
The agency is run by ex-Chandler Chicco Agency bosses Jennie Talman and Emma Crozier.
