OS's French joins hospice in Hants

Ordnance Survey’s (OS) communication team memeber joins Hampshire children’s hospice Naomi House.

Hampshire children’s hospice Naomi House has signed a member of Ordnance Survey’s (OS) comms team to a new top PR job.

Rhian French has spent the past six years at the map-maker, most recently as corporate CSR manager. She has now joined Naomi House in the role of communications manager.

She said: ‘Next year will be Naomi House’s ten-year anniversary, and the senior management has created this role to step up PR activity.

‘It is important that families in the South-East know what we are up to, and are aware of our fundraising initiatives, such as our recently launched lottery scheme.’

The Winchester-based hospice costs around £2.5m a year to run. French said ensuring regular revenue from individual and corporate supporters was crucial.

French reports to chief executive Ray Kipling.
