Tonic Life grabs Dettol global job

Reckitt Benckiser is to use Tonic Life Communications to handle a global campaign for its germ-busting brands, with major push lined up for flagship disinfectant Dettol.

The campaign’s ambitious aim is to ‘improve good hygiene practice around the world’. Tonic will work with global hygiene experts.

As well as Europe, the campaign will include activity in the US, Asia and Africa. Tonic will work with its own affiliates or Reckitt’s in-country agencies.

Separately, Reckitt head of comms Fiona Fong is now on maternity leave. SV-P of IR and corporate comms Tom Corran, her boss, has assumed her duties until early next year.
