US software firm appoints Carrot

Omniture, a US-based maker of software that enables corporates to analyse their website traffic, is using Carrot Communications to handle its comms in the UK and France.

Carrot director Kate Hartley said the ten-year-old company wanted to raise its profile among firms with websites registering a million or more hits a day.

The company has worked with, BT, John Lewis, Thomas Cook and in the UK.

Houghton said media relations would initially focus on internet and marketing press, and then sector media, before targeting business and national press.
