Coke rejigs global comms structure

ATLANTA: Coca-Cola is restructuring its global comms under Tom Mattia, who became SV-P and director of worldwide PA and comms just three months ago.

Coke is looking to fill a raft of new posts, including director of corporate reputation and director of a new digital comms group.

There are currently 90 staff in the worldwide PA and comms group scattered between Atlanta, New York, and Washington DC.

‘Our move around corporate reputation will bring together CSR, community action and environmental [work],’ said Mattia. He added that the revamp was in part designed to ‘develop a relationship with the folks doing company brand work’.

Coke’s agencies include Burson-Marsteller  and Weber Shandwick.
