Ofcom’s Brady in consumer move

Ofcom is hunting a public and political relations manager after Bradley Brady moved to a new role as consumer policy manager.

The communications regulator’s head of public and political affairs, Roger Lowry, said Ofcom was ‘beefing up the consumer policy team’, which aims to identify the potential impact of policy decisions on consumers. Brady joined Ofcom at its inception in late 2003.

This week it emerged that Ofcom faces court action over its decision not to review the 9pm watershed for junk food advertising to kids.
