Timmons in Maitland move

Former Canary Wharf group head of corporate and investor comms Wendy Timmons has left Redleaf Communications, after only a year, to join The Maitland Consultancy.

Timmons has joined the Havas-owned City firm as a consultant, reporting to senior consultant William Clutterbuck.
She will work on Maitland’s Aberdeen Asset Management, Aggreko and Schroeder Property accounts, and will specialise in advising clients in the property and media sectors.

At Redleaf, her clients included mobile content provider MonsterMob and stockbroker Collins Stewart.

‘Wendy and I worked together at Lowe Bell in the early 1990s. She’s effective and intuitive and it’s good to be working on the same team as her again,’ said Clutterbuck.

Timmons left Canary Wharf following Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds’ buyout of the real-estate group, and joined Redleaf Communications last year (PRWeek, 25 March 2005).

Before Canary Wharf, Timmons spent eight years at Lowe Bell, working her way up from account director to director.
