PRWeek Awards deadline looms

The deadline for entering the 2006 PRWeek Awards is now only three weeks away.

Categories this year include Private Sector Department of the Year, New Consultancy of the Year and Best Use of New Media. There are also two categories within the Best Marketing Communications: Consumer Campaign award – one for campaigns worth less than £100,000 in annual fees; and one for those billing more than £100,000.

Awards must be entered online this year, by 9 June. Full details at
l Ian Hall, PRWeek’s deputy news editor, was this week promoted to the role of news editor in recognition
of his contribution to the magazine and knowledge of the industry. Ravi Chandiramani, formerly news editor, is promoted to a redefined deputy editor role.
