The company has produced a one-off gold version of its new Micra C+C model, partly designed by ex-Atomic Kitten member Jenny Frost. The link-up is for the charity’s ‘Fashion Targets Breast Cancer’ initiative.

Frost will host six shows – in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow – over the coming weeks. ‘The car will be driven up to stylish bars where fashion-savvy 25 to 35-year-old women will be enjoying a summer drink,’ said Kate Monro, marketing co-ordinator at Cunning, which is running the shows.

‘The roof will fold back, the gold carpet will roll out and the fashion show will begin,’ she added.

The public will be encouraged to buy T-shirts and other merchandise, or make a donation.
