1950s car brand aims for revival

Connaught, the Classic British racing car marque, has taken on Automotive PR to promote its return to production and its new models.

Famous for its racing cars in the 1950s, the company was revived last year and is now aiming to muscle in on the top-end performance car market.

Automotive PR director Chris Wakely said the £75,000 models would be targeted at 'luxury marque owners wealthy enough to think of purchasing a Connaught alongside their Mercedes or Porsches'.
