Liberty brings in first PR agency

Iconic London retail emporium Liberty has called in agency support for the first time.

Camron PR, formerly Selfridges' agency of seven years, will advise Liberty on strategic comms as it seeks to capitalise on its heritage.

The store's in-house team will continue to run the press office and handle product placement work. Liberty closed its Regent Street-facing premises two months ago. CEO Iain Renwick has insisted that this was not a cost-cutting measure, but an effort to ensure the shop was smaller, as befits a luxury brand.
