Wrestling tour pulls in celebrity punters

Diary's grapple fans snapped up an invitation to the WWE Wrestlemania Revenge Tour last Friday - it offered the chance to meet the spandex-clad sportsmen of the fabled 'squared circle'.

'How big could they be?' Diary mused, before The Outside Organisation introduced us to one Atlas-sized man in hotpants (Gene Snitsky) and 57-year-old bull-necked veteran of the ring, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair.

Alongside the plethora of superstars, closet WWE fans included ex-Spurs and QPR manager Gerry Francis, Radio DJ Colin Murray and gruff Dragons' Den millionaire Duncan Bannatyne.

Nobody from Manchester United though, despite the opportunity to 'throw some money into the ring'.
