Edinburgh film fest plans anniversary
The Edinburgh International Film Festival has taken on its first PR agency, Rogers & Cowan, for its 60th birthday celebrations this summer.
The account will be run from the agency's recently opened London office, along with its Los Angeles team.
Festival MD Ginnie Atkinson said: 'We want to make sure that the public and the worldwide film industry hear about the great things we are doing.'
The festival – this year extended from 12 to 14 days, beginning on 14 August – vies for attention with the similarly timed Edinburgh International Festival and its Fringe spin-off.
