Letter: Caught on camera? CEO must apologise

I hope your readers don't emulate Ryanair or Foxtons in their encounters with undercover TV reporters ('How to respond to undercover TV,' 31 March).

Ryanair demanded an unedited, 'as live' interview on Dispatches - which Channel 4 rightly refused - and then talked up its bad publicity by putting everything on its website, guaranteeing everyone knew the story for days before it was broadcast. And Foxtons' statement was met with near-universal derision.

The only thing to say when faced with that level of evidence is for the CEO to show up and say 'it will never happen again - ever'.
