Midlands RDA nets part-time chief

Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands has finally filled its comms chief post.

Lori Trott, former head of comms at the NHS Executive, Anglia and Oxford Region, has taken on the role, six months after it was made vacant by last September's exit of Sara Moseley.

Trott, a freelancer for six years, said she planned to stay in the part-time role 'for the foreseeable future'.

'There is a possibility the post will become permanent but we can't say at the moment,' she added.

Trott reports to corporate director for strategy and comms Roger Sumpton and leads a team of 19, handling press, internal comms and public affairs.
