Blue Lotus, based in Mumbai, has been hired primarily to showcase the leadership status of ICICI Securities in the Indian investment banking scenario. It will handle all corporate communications programmes throughout the year.
N. Chandramouli, CEO of Blue Lotus said the foremost objective of the campaign would be to streamline all communications, and to create mass awareness and top-of-mind recall for the bank. The agency has conducted a seven-city perception survey among 50 key journalists from relevant beats to understand their existing perceptions of ICICI Securities.
The company's media relations has been limited, due to the busy schedules of top management, and to the complex nature of the business, which calls for a depth of knowledge in the field, said Chandramouli. 'Another important part of the brief includes communicating ICICI Securities successes to potential recruits from the top management institutes of the country,' he said.
Blue Lotus account director Archana Tomar will lead the account with account manager Melissa Serrao. They report to Linus Chettiar, vice president of corporate communications at ICICI Secrities.
