Peretti's McAvoy shifts to rival APR

Luxury goods agency APR – formerly Aurelia Public Relations – has poached Annabel McAvoy, managing partner at Peretti, to be MD Alix Robson’s second in command.

McAvoy joins as a director and takes equity in APR. She will handle accounts for Salvatore Ferragano, Rosewood Hotels, Country Life magazine and Sharpham Park – Mulberry founder Roger Saul's brand of organic food, which is sourced from his farm.

McAvoy was at Peretti for ten years, reporting to MD Françoise Peretti, who said that no replacement would be sought. She said many of McAvoy's responsibilities could be passed on to others.

Peretti's clients include Raymond Weil watches, The Dorchester hotel and Rémy Martin Cognac.
