Johnson King nets IT security work

US data security firm PGP has appointed Johnson King to boost its profile in Europe after a four-way pitch.

The provider of IT encryption products has not retained an agency for European work before.

A campaign will centre around the issue of protecting intellectual property on laptops. Account director Joe Banks said: 'We'll look
to comment on data privacy in identity theft stories.'

Banks reports to Jamie Cowper, PGP marketing manager EMEA. Account manager is Laura Mead.

*  Johnson King has won the account to promote US digital optical networking start-up Infinera in the UK, France and Germany.
