Website monitor Keynote brings in Johnson King

Keynote Systems, a Californian software company that monitors the performance of websites, has signed up Johnson King to bolster UK coverage of its surveys.

The firm regularly produces polls comparing websites' ability to cope with increased traffic.

'We'll link coverage to big events such as the upcoming Grand National,' said Johnson King account manager Flora Haslam. 'Every company is online now so there will always be news hooks.'

A survey by Keynote this month showed customers were becoming less satisfied with online travel companies.

Keynote uses panels of people, as well as software, to test service levels, customer experience and website reliability. It said that it was planning to expand its services to assess the quality of Voice-over-IP and mobile applications.

Haslam leads the account, reporting to Keynote V-P and MD, EMEA, Haran Sold. The company's competitors include Gómez, Mercury Interactive and NetIQ.
