Sales aid Dendrite seeks Euro profile

A New Jersey-based company that helps pharma sales staff market their wares has appointed De Facto Communications to a pan-European brief.

Dendrite brought in the Chime-owned agency after a competitive pitch to help it secure more coverage in the European press.

The firm has operated in the UK for more than a decade but has rarely used proactive PR. It produces an array of products to aid pharma product marketing, including databases of physicians, hospital doctors and medical personnel.

It also produces audit and regulatory software to aid compliance in the heavily regulated pharma sector.

De Facto reports to Dendrite UK and Ireland general manager Elfed Robbins who is based in Berkshire.

'We'll be primarily establishing links with the press,' said De Facto account manager Gina Worthington.
