GSK’s Mawdsley moves to IR role

GlaxoSmithKline has installed David Mawdsley in the role of investor relations director.

Mawdsley, who was unavailable for comment as PRWeek went to press, takes up the role in an internal switch that sees him relocate from a position in the pharma company's corporate media team.

GSK's IR department continues to be run by vice-president of investor relations Duncan Learmouth. Other IR team members include Anita Kidgell.

In his former role Mawdsley reported to V-P of UK corporate media relations Phil Thomson, who was also unavailable to comment as PRWeek went to press.
