TeGenero in crisis mode after trial

TeGenero, the German company at the centre of last week’s clinical trial disaster, has drafted in crisis management agencies in Frankfurt and London.

The drug development firm has signed up Kissman Langford to bolster its media handling capacity, which previously consisted of two receptionists.

The company's reputation took a battering last week when six men were taken critically ill during a drug trial at London's Northwick Park Hospital.

KL was called in within 24 hours, and subsequently called on its affiliate in Frankfurt, Klenk & Hoursch.

KL client executive Paul Naish oversees the five-strong team from the UK, with K&H managing partner Uwe Wache handling affairs in Germany.
