Packer Forbes lures Resolute stalwart Bridges

Packer Forbes Communications has poached Helen Bridges from Resolute Communications to take an account manager role.

Bridges left Resolute, where she was one of the agency's longest-serving staffers, last month. At Packer Forbes she is working in the rheumatoid arthritis and neurology arenas.

At Resolute she worked for clients including Roche on lung cancer drug Tarceva (international), and Procter & Gamble on ulcerative colitis product Asacol (UK).

Bridges was one of the first hires made by co-founders Anna Korving and Paul Blackburn when they launched Resolute in 2002. She left as an account manager, having joined as a junior account executive.
Co-CEO Blackburn said: 'Helen is a testament to our success as she was promoted several times.'

Packer Forbes has also hired Marlene Due as an account executive. She previously worked as a comms assistant at pharma firm Eli Lilly in Denmark on internal comms and product PR. She spent one and a half years at Eli Lilly.

At Packer Forbes, Due will work on corporate and medical education business.

Packer Forbes' clients include Actelion, Altana Pharmaceuticals, CV Therapeutics, Schering-Plough, Merck Sharp & Dohme and Pfizer/Eisai.

Bridges is the second staffer to leave Resolute and join Packer Forbes in recent months: former Resolute account executive Annabel Lee joined as a senior account executive last autumn (PRWeek, 23 Sep 2005).
