CCD promotes herbal slimming product Zotrim

The supplier of herbal weight loss supplement Zotrim has switched agencies as it battles for standout in an increasingly competitive sector.

Natures Remedies, based in Buckinghamshire, has brought in London agency CCD Healthcare to boost Zotrim's profile and 'reaffirm its credibility in a sector crowded with aggressively marketed competitors'. The agency will undertake 'intensive' media relations – backed up with  endorsement from a celebrity, 'research projects', case studies and clinical evidence.

CCD has approached a celebrity, who it hopes will be 'unveiled in the summer with a new lean figure' courtesy of Zotrim.

Agency MD Justin Clark said: 'Consumers are increasingly sceptical of natural products. Media relations is the ideal method to communicate Zotrim's effectiveness because objective editorial fosters trust.'

CCD won the business following a competitive pitch and replaces The SPA Way, which promoted the brand from March 2003 until January.
