EasyMobile shifts to the high street

EasyMobile has brought in BMA Communications to publicise its move onto the high street.

From this month the 23,000-subscriber service is being rolled out in The Link's 295 stores nationwide. The Stelios Haji-Ioannou operation is also close to securing a deal with another, undisclosed chain.

It wants to raise awareness of its move from a SIM-only online product to a high-street offering that includes handsets.

BMA beat four agencies, including Fuse PR and Commando, to secure the £100,000 account.

EasyMobile is embroiled in a legal battle with Orange over the use of the colour on its branding.
