Location may not be everything, but it certainly plays a large part of the success of The Terrace restaurant.
Set in the heart of London's Lincoln's Inn Fields within an eco-friendly and sustainable building, you could be forgiven for thinking you had escaped the commotion of London for a tranquil log cabin nestled in the mountains.
The design of this restaurant is intelligent and sensitive and - alongside the attentive waiting-staff - makes for a fantastic dining experience.
And with generous portions, a well balanced selection of dishes and an appealing view over central London's largest garden square it is difficult to find any faults here.
Head chef Patrick Williams blends the best of British cuisine with the subtlest of Caribbean twists, throughout an engrossing menu that takes your taste buds on a gentle tour of new and delectable experiences. I chose Jerusalem artichoke soup, which was sensational, and then tucked into sea bass with sweet potato and tomato salsa.
This is a truly memorable venue and I was struck by the eclectic mix of people it had managed to attract. It will certainly make an impression on any potential clients.
