Société Générale dumps Hogarth

Société Générale has dropped the Hogarth Partnership from its corporate and investment banking division after three and a half years.

SG CIB media relations manager Sophie Hoggarth said the division had appointed Financial Dynamics to 'promote further the bank's growth and development in the UK in key areas: euro capital markets, derivatives and structured finance and cross asset research'.

While SG CIB is less well known in the M&A market, the bank has carved out a niche for itself in the sophisticated area of derivatives and is one of the City's largest derivatives houses.

FD senior vice-president Andrew Walton leads the account.
