Youth groups win Media Trust prize

Children’s charities WellChild and Street League along with student charity Envision have won the Media Trust Charity Challenge.

Co-founder of Envision Tom Doust said the prize of 14 days' PR support from Weber Shandwick would enable the charity 'to raise its profile in ways that have never been possible before'.

Wellchild's entry for the award centred around raising awareness of its support for sick children, while Street League explained its need
to attract more corporate support.

Envision, meanwhile, is planning a summer campaign of community work for young people.

The unsuccessful charities The Ergonomics Society, Music in Hospitals and The Cancer Resource Centre will still receive help from the Media Trust in recruiting PR agency support.
