Not the first time govt has used media firm

Excellent story about the growing problem of child obesity - well done ('Govt uses kids to devise anti-obesity campaign,' 13 January). I am glad the Government is finally collaborating more.

But it is not 'the first time government has partnered with a media company to run a public campaign'. I ran one for Michael Heseltine when he was secretary of state for the environment, and a schoolchildren's poster competition for Bottle Banks.

You will not find this story in your archives for good reason - it was before Heseltine's company Haymarket launched PRWeek.
